3. Splinter Cell: Conviction
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction is the fifth installment in the Splinter Cell video game series released in April 2010. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, developers of Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and the sixth generation versions of Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Key members of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas team, such as creative director Maxime Bland, also worked on the game. Gameloft released a handheld version of the game for the iPhone OS on May 27, 2010.
Splinter Cell: Conviction introduces a number of new gameplay features to the series, one of which is the "Mark & Execute" feature, which allows the player to mark specific targets, such as enemies or objects, and shoot them when they burst through a door or window. The player can choose to prioritize these targets, so that, for example, he could distract one guard by shooting out a light in his vicinity and then take out another guard. Another new feature is the "Last Known Position", which occurs when the player breaks the line of sight of an alerted guard.
This creates a visual silhouette of where the guard thinks Sam is, allowing the player to strategically flank his enemies. Main target subjects can use the player's abilities against them. The player can be taken hostage by the subject in co-op mode; the hostage's partner can neutralize the subject by shooting them or grabbing them off his teammate. -Wikipedia.org

2. MLB 2K10
Major League Baseball 2K10 or, in short, MLB 2K10, is a MLB licensed baseball simulation video game published by 2K Sports. MLB 2K10 was available for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Wii and Nintendo DS. The game was released on March 2, 2010.
New to the series is the "My Player" feature, a career mode in which the player shepherds a player's career from the minors to the majors. Other features from the previous game have been improved or tweaked, including hitting and pitching. The game also features "MLB Today", an online ticker that tracks real-life Major League Baseball news and scores. With the MLB Today feature you can also play the same game that is being played in the real MLB. For example, if the New York Yankees are playing the Boston Red Sox and C.C. Sabathia is pitching, in the game he will be pitching along with the same lineup that is being used.
GameZone's Michael Lafferty gave the game a 7/10, saying "In the past, the 2K series was hampered by a lot of little things. The developers obviously put a lot of time in improving the overall gameplay and it shows. The new modes are fun but need some attention to iron out bugs, and there are some areas where the errors are just downright contrary to the game of baseball. On the surface, baseball seems a simple game, but to the baseball fan, the layers of complexity are what create that overall feeling that is Major League Baseball." -Wikipedia.org

News For The Playstation Network Outage Anonymous Says They Didn't Do it This Time

If you love to play games on your PlayStation 3, you know that the PlayStation 3 suffered from a major outage on Friday. If you try to clock on and play online games, your PS3 clocks you back out, if you check to see what is wrong, the PS3 network tells you they are performing maintenance. While the outage began Friday April 22, the problems with the PlayStation 3 network have been off and on for weeks now.
Some people claimed that "Anonymous" hacked into Sony's network and shut down PS3 for the weekend. Both my nephews told me this story, so I investigated and this is what I found;"For Once We Didn't Do It--- Sony's PlayStation Network, its online service for PlayStation 3 and its PlayStation Portable consoles, suffered from a major outage today; which is on-going as of this writing. According to Sony's blog, the interruption in service may last into the long weekend - for at least another "full day or two". Sony released a statement through its EU blog, saying that the network outage may be a result of "targeted behavior by an outside party", brining in the possibility of cyber-attacks. Adding to the confusion is the fact that the message has since been removed. While it could be the case that other Anons have acted by themselves AnonOps was not related to this incident and takes no responsibility for it. A more likely explination is that Sony is taking advantage of Anonymous ' previous ill-will towards the company to distract users from the fact the outage is acutely an internal problem with the companies servers. TL:DR Sony is incompetent." (Anonymous) All Credit goes to Anon News.Org
This information comes directly from the Anonymous website where they deny causing the troubles all of us are having with our PlayStation 3 systems. The only thing Anonymous admits to is that some of their Anon's are working on their own to mess up Sony's PS3 network.
Regardless, the PlayStation 3 network remains unavailable on this Easter Sunday April 24, 2011. Hopefully Sony will get their act together soon and make it possible for gamers to play online games on the PS3 network soon. My children are on Spring Break this week and my son is drooling for the chance to play online games again soon.
I am not affiliated with PS3 or anonymous, I play games on the PlayStation 3 system because I enjoy online games. As a gamer, I don't believe we should suffer because of this situation. Anonymous is angry at Sony because they monitor everybody's IP address when they play games on their PS3 network. I don't like this either because it seems to be too big brother like to me. On the other hand, Sony does not charge to use their online service and they also monitor for cheaters and hackers.
Now we all know why we cannot play online games on the PlayStation 3 network and all of it leads back to Sony. Sony has either been hacked and is being held hostage by Anons working on their own or Sony's network is a complete mess because Sony is incompetent. PlayStation 3 players and fans sit here waiting for our systems to reboot. Many of us are tired of turning on the system only so see PlayStation Network is currently undergoing maintenance.

Video Game Industry Set For Yet More Growth

The gaming market is worth over 4 billion each year and is still growing and the giants in the field are constantly improving and introducing new innovations to gain a strong foothold in the market.
2011 is set to be a big year for the video game industry and 2010 was a year of evolution, with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft, all enjoying strong sales success. PlayStation Move and Kinect introduced motion control to the PS3 and Xbox 360 and the year ahead looks set to be dominated by the continued growth of handheld devices and motion control.
Although rumours about PS4 and Xbox 3 persist, the big manufacturers will not announce new consoles for the home in 2011, probably because both Sony and Microsoft will live in hope that their PlayStation Move and Kinect motion control systems will continue to breathe new life into their profitable existing consoles.

Gamers Not Sure If PlayStation 4 Arrival Due In 2012 Is True or False

There is much speculation about the launch of PlayStation 4, Sony is not one to rest on its laurels, and with intense competition in the video game world at present, it is believed that PlayStation 4 is already at the starting blocks and will make an appearance in late 2012, but gamers are not sure whether this is true or false.
Although PS3 has not been fully put through its paces, and to stress that point Sony have stated that games currently on the market are not even close to pushing the system to its full potential, so just imagine the possibilities of what a new console will be able to pull off.
Sony wants to keep one step ahead of the game, and although no official information concerning the PS4's launch, it will probable follow the trend of Sony's previous console generations. PlayStation 1 was released in 1994 in Japan, and then throughout the rest of the world in 1995, going on from that the PlayStation 2 hit the stores in 2000, which gave the PS1 a retail shelf life of 6 years from its launch, then along comes the PS3 in 2006, and if this trend is followed it should be late 2012 seeing a PS4 release.

The Playstation 3 is exclusive retributive over two years old, a plain teenager if the 10-tear strategy Sony is pledged to pans out. But element developers are ever preparation their next advise, which for Sony is possible to be the PS4. Which is why articles most the PS4, Xbox 720, and Wii 2 are several of our most-read of all indication?

The PS4, on the different laborer is rumored to be beingness industrial around the existing Room structure.

The Sony PlayStation became the primary e'er gritty housing to transact over 600 meg gallinacean units in Marching of 2010. The Sony also had the capableness to try frequency CDs, as Sony refused to say it was strictly a brave housing.

The PlayStation 3 is thing snub of awful. The blu-ray get makes it conceivable tor freedom ultra advanced density optical discs resourceful of storing digital media, including commanding definition recording, allowing for both of the most stunning graphics you score e'er seen. Playstation 4 motion controllers, but Sony has embezzled it to another level. This new controller is victimized in connection with the eye camera, this is their webcam which until now has been utilised for video chats and force movement from the period you force the switch, and the measure the production occurs on the screen is rightful as expedited as the threefold appal criterion.
